Creating a Post

There are two ways to create a new post on Comity:

Create a post from scratch

Create a post from the content feed

Create Post using Post Editor

To create a new post, you first need to open the post editor using "Create" button at the top right of the screen.

You can now start working on your post. Type your message, attach image or video & select profiles.

To schedule this post for the future, you need to change the time attribute, which is by default set to "Now." Click on time icon to change the time.

Create Post from Content Feed

You can share your updates & content directly from Comity. To share an item in the content feed, use the share icon is available in content cards.

This will open the post editor and Comity will automatically capture media and URL for the content.

URL & Media for a content post cannot be changed in the editor
You can now type your message.

To assist you to create an informative content, Comity has a feature called "Shortcuts." Shortcuts will appear in the post editor when you share an item from your content feed.

Shortcuts vary depending on the source of content. Comity will dynamically capture the critical metadata from the content.

You can use the shortcut menu to insert such metadata into your message.

Scheduling a Post

To schedule this post for the future, you need to change the time attribute, which is by default set to "Now." Click on time icon to change the time.

Timezone is automatically detected when you first signed up to Comity. You can change your timezone from Workspace settings.
